The Weldability Sif Technology & Training Centre

The Technology & Training Centre is an extension of Weldability Sif’s commitment to develop and train the welders of tomorrow. With first-class facilities and extensive provision for safe and secure learning, the centre is the optimum space to host specialist courses and demonstrations.

The centre houses a large modern practical training workshop complete with twelve fully-equipped welding bays forming part of a welding process centre allowing industrial users to conduct development trials and carry out welder training and testing.

There are also multiple classrooms including a highly impressive eLearning suite and fully-immersive virtual welding studio providing a complete 'Virtual Learning Environment' allowing students to gain an understanding of the practicalities of the trade before entering a live workshop.

All of our qualifications are EAL accredited. EAL qualifications are respected throughout the welding industry.

Introduction to Welding for Beginners. One Day Course

INCLUDES AUGMENTED REALITY

Introduction to Mig, Tig and Stick Welding. The importance of welding safety & "hands on" Augmented Reality Welding Machine (MIG) practice. Live feedback throughout.

Training for anyone interested in welding with no prior experience required. Practice with State-of-the-art Augmented reality is a safe environment with video feedback. Perfect for those interested in taking welding further for a hobby or new career.

Beginner.

Introduction to Live Welding

Hands on Mig welding in a modern and safe welding bay environment.

Ideal for first time Mig welders (Tig and Stick welding available on demand). Attempt welding under direct supervision by our in house certified trainer. For those with some experience, get the chance to improve your skills and ask questions to an expert.

Beginner, Low level welder.

Welding Skills Improvement via AR inc Positional training

INCLUDES AUGMENTED REALITY

On site training in your industrial location. Welding induction training for new starters with hands on quality assessment and training offered via Augmented Reality.

Low cost solution for weld positional skills improvement using Augmented Reality technology. The use of AR technology removes the need for the cost of all consumables whilst the participant practices the welding skill required to be perfected in a controlled and safe environment. Provided at site or at Weldability-Sif.

Professional Welder.

Weld Quality Improvement & Risk Assessment Training

Selection by the customer of a single process for the improvement program, bespoke to the welders needs to improve in technique, understanding or application of weld. Mig Tig or MMA processes covered.

Improve output speed and right first time quality with experienced or beginner professional welders. Our highly experienced and training manager will attend your business site to review the processes and skills base and provide improvement training and advice where required. Provided at site or at Weldability-Sif.

Professional Welders.

Coded Welding Training

Specialist training for high end aspiring Coded Welding professionals.

Attain a "coded" status in any welding discipline with the theory and practical assessments to ensure welders attain the 3rd party certification level required to be a coded welder.
Also "Train the trainer" competence for large manufacturing facilities that want to bring training and personnel development in-house.
